Virtual University Sialkot Campuses arranged a day trip for female students 58 in number to Changla Gali, Ayubia and Monal on 14th July, 2023. Such Trips to forest mountains can be an excellent bonding opportunity for friends & university fellows and create lasting memories. During university life, students should voluntarily join such excursion trips because for every female it may not be possible to get a chance. The fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and physical activities such as hiking can significantly improve mental health and contribute to overall well-being.

Our journey began with a late hours’ departure. We took the excited group to the serene landscapes of Changla Gali, where students stopped at a beautiful restaurant "Humming Bird" to rest and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Refreshed and ready to explore, the students continued their adventure towards Donga Gali, where they visited water tanks built by the British in the year 1930 along with the water pipe line to supply water to Ayubia and Murree settlements.

The real highlight, however, was the captivating pipeline track - Ayubia National Park. For more than two hour, we walked along the pipeline trail from Donga Gali to Ayubia, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. At the other end of Pipeline track, students also walked through the historical 130-year-old British-era heritage site, “Ayubia Moto Tunnel”. The tunnel is newly restored and worth visiting built in year 1891.

After the invigorating walk, the students enjoyed shopping at the bustling Ayubia Bazaar, exploring a variety of local handicrafts, souvenirs, and delightful jewelry. Here, they purchased unique souvenirs and other stuff to remember the journey by. As the day drew to a close, the students began their journey back towards Islamabad.

Another highlight of the trip was the dinner at the renowned "Monal" restaurant in Islamabad, Marghalla Hills. The Monaal is famous for its panoramic views of the city and splendid cuisine. The students relished a delicious feast while the breathtaking cityscape beneath them added an extra touch of enchantment to the experience.

After having dinner, we started our journey back to Sialkot. Through this well-planned outing, the campus not only provided a refreshing break from academic routines but also fostered a sense of companionship among the female students, leaving them with cherished memories that they would treasure for years to come. Over all, it was a perfect blend of adventure, leisure and provided the students with an extraordinary experience.
