Excursion to Neelum Valley, Dhani & Kutton Waterfall, Upper Neelum, Keran, Muzaffarabad

Girls Trip to Neelum Valley Azad Kashmir

Virtual University Sialkot Campuses arranged an Educational Trip for the Female Students to Neelam valley from 2nd May to 5th May 2018 to one of the beautiful places of Azad Kashmir, named after the river which has blue colour. It is also called the “PARADISE OF KASHMIR”. The valley has thick forest, streams and rivers of amazing beauty.

The most interesting part of the valley is that there is also LOC (LINE OF CONTROL) the Neelam River separates Azad Kashmir and Occupied Kashmir. Main purpose of the trip was to introduce our students to nature, the wilderness and refreshing high mountains away from polluted cities.

On trips like this we take the students away from High Tech World and introduce to them an environment where people live with little which we take as granted while living in big cities where we have educational institutes, hospitals, comfortable transportation systems, airports extra.

Travelled from Sialkot to Islamabad and Muzaffarabad. Visited water Falls of Dhani and Kutton and stayed at Keran and trekked to Upper Neelam Valley. Camped and dined on the Neelam river bank while we watched our Muslim bothers across the river in occupied Kashmir. Enjoyed bon fire and quality time. Faculty deserves special appreciation and we are proud of our students for their support and cooperation. Last but not the least ladies trip would remain incomplete without shopping at the famous "khawajah Muzaffarabad Bazaar".
